Neeraj Tayal is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the Director of Instrument Software at 10x Genomics since January 2024. Previously, Neeraj held the position of Senior Director of Software Engineering at Aeva, Inc., where significant achievements included securing a $1 billion production contract with a top OEM and leading the successful delivery of multiple generations of 4D lidar sensors. Earlier roles included Senior Embedded Systems Engineer at Matterport, where Neeraj played a critical role in the development of the Pro2 camera system, and Head of Device Software at Light, where innovative camera technologies were launched. Neeraj's foundational experience also includes a tenure at Intel Corporation as a Senior Firmware Engineer. Neeraj holds a Master’s in Computer Science from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
