Serge Saxonov is the CEO and Co-Founder of 10X Genomics. Serge was previously with QuantaLife, where they were VP Applications and responsible for content, applications and diagnostics opportunities for ddPCR technology. Prior to that, Serge was with 23andMe as the First Employee, Founding Architect, and Director of R&D. At 23andMe, they were responsible for product conception, recruiting the early team, and building many key elements of the technology.

Serge Saxonov earned their PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford University and their AB in Applied Math from Harvard University.
