Maria Martin is an accomplished sports anchor, host, and reporter with a robust career in sports journalism spanning over several years. Currently serving as a Sports Anchor/Host/Reporter at 11Alive since October 2019, Maria has received multiple EMMY nominations and won a Murrow award. Previous experience includes hosting a radio show at ESPN The Ticket and working as a Sports Anchor/Reporter at WSFA 12 News, where recognition included the 2017 AP Sports Anchor of the Year award. Additional roles include sideline reporting for Raycom News Network, production assistance at CBS Sports, and reporting for The Tennis Channel. Maria holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from the University of Mississippi.
