Betsy Ziegler

Betsy Ziegler, currently the CEO of 1871 since April 2018, also serves as an advisor at DBK Studio and holds independent board director positions at Rheaply and Fast Radius, as well as independent board member roles at Verve Romance and DeVry University. Ziegler is an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship and innovation at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, where past titles include Chief Innovation Officer and Associate Dean of MBA Programs. Previous experience includes a principal role at McKinsey and Company, focusing on the social sector and financial services, and credit operations at General Electric. Ziegler holds an MBA in General Management from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from The Ohio State University.
