Kalpana Sindhu

Kalpana Sindhu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in venture capital, banking, and consultancy. Currently serving as a Partner at 1Crowd since January 2022, Kalpana focuses on early-stage investments. Prior to this role, Kalpana provided independent consulting services, advising startups on market strategies and funding from July 2021 to December 2021. Kalpana held significant positions at DBS Bank, where responsibilities included regional strategy implementation and team leadership from June 2018 to June 2021, and Deutsche Bank A.G., managing corporate banking coverage for key relationships from 2004 to 2016. Earlier career highlights include business development at Infosys and Citibank, as well as credit rating analysis at CRISIL. Kalpana holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and has completed an Executive Education Program in Private Equity and Capital Market Financing at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
