Prashant started their career as a Production Manager at Hindustan Lever Ltd (Unilever India). Prashant then moved to McKinsey & Company, where they worked as a Summer Associate and then as a Sr Associate. In 2010, they left McKinsey to start HealthKart, which is positioned to be India's #1 health store. HealthKart is headquartered in Gurgaon, India and is supported by Tier 1 investors Sequoia Capital, Omidyar Network & Kae capital.
In 2015, Prashant left HealthKart to start 1mg. 1mg is a leading player in the Indian e-retail space for healthcare and aspire to provide quality health, fitness and wellness products to consumers across India.
Prashant Tandon has an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a B-Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in Chemical Engg.
