Sarah Cairns has a range of experience in finance and management roles. Sarah started their career at Central 1 Credit Union as a Marketing Administration Assistant in 2009, and later became a People Solutions Assistant. In 2011, they joined PwC as a Manager, Assurance, where they worked until 2017. Sarah then transitioned to Zymeworks Inc. as a Manager, Financial Reporting. In 2019, they joined 1QBit as a Financial Controller, and eventually became the Director of Finance in 2020.
Sarah Cairns completed their BBA in Financial Accounting at Simon Fraser University from 2006 to 2011. Sarah then pursued further education at the CA School of Business, where they obtained their Qualifying CPA, CA from 2011 to 2013.
