Kate Welk

Kate Welk is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as Principal at Welk Strategic Communications since February 2020, where a diverse range of PR and communication services is offered, with particular expertise in education, nonprofit, public policy, tech, and real estate industries. In addition, Kate has held the position of Senior Director of Corporate Communications at 2U since October 2020 and previously served as Director of Impact and Policy Communications at WeWork. Notable achievements include building the in-house communications team for Flatiron School, managing communications at The College Board, and contributing to public relations efforts at Covenant House International.
