Larae Booker

Larae Booker is an accomplished communication professional with extensive experience in strategic communication and engagement. Currently serving as the Vice President of Partner Communication and Engagement at 2U, Larae has significantly evolved the company's communication strategies, managing a team that supports diverse partner relations. Previously, as a Senior Director at 2U, Larae established a corporate services function to enhance relationships with over 80 higher education partners. Additional expertise includes roles at SHRM, where Larae led organizational communication efforts, and the Corporation for National and Community Service, developing impactful messages during the Obama Administration. Larae's career also encompasses public affairs and speechwriting at USDA-FSIS and other organizations, complemented by an MA in Culture and Communication from New York University and a BS in Organizational Communication from Ohio University.
