Thorsten Neidhoefer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Thorsten is currently the Head of Solution Engineering Display Europe at 3A Composites, a position they have held since September 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Manager of Product Development at AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH from October 2015 to September 2020.
Before joining AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH, Thorsten worked at Celanese, where they held various roles including Global Manager LFT Technology from September 2011 to September 2015, Site Manager from October 2010 to August 2011, Head of Polymer Testing & Analysis EU from August 2008 to September 2010, and Testing Specialist from December 2007 to July 2008.
Thorsten started their career as a Product Development Engineer at SIMONA AG in September 2004 and worked there until November 2007. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at polyMaterials AG from June 2003 to August 2004.
Thorsten Neidhoefer earned a Doctorate in Chemistry from the Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Chemistry from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz from 1994 to 1999.
