Mike Shepard

Mike Shepard is an experienced professional in the aerospace and defense industry, currently serving as Vice President of the Aerospace & Defense Segment at 3D Systems Corporation since July 2021. Prior to this role, Mike held multiple director positions at MTS Systems Corporation from December 2013 to June 2021, focusing on global strategy, advanced products business development, and service materials. Mike's earlier experience includes significant roles at the Air Force Research Laboratory, where leadership included Chief of the Aircraft Structures Technology Branch and Chief of the Behavior and Life Prediction Section. Mike's academic credentials consist of a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the University of Dayton, a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from Wright State University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, also from Wright State University.
