Jeffrey Debruin

Jeffrey DeBruin currently serves as Director and Assistant General Counsel for Corporate & Securities at 3M, a position held since November 2022. Prior to this role, DeBruin was an Officer and Assistant General Counsel at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka for a brief period and held key legal positions at Evergy and Westar Energy from June 2018 to April 2022, where responsibilities included providing strategic legal advice and ensuring compliance with corporate laws. DeBruin also served as Corporate Secretary for Prairie Wind Transmission, LLC, managing corporate governance and financing matters. Educational background includes a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
