Nima Mohaghegh has held various roles over the years. From 2019 to the present, they have worked at 4D Molecular Therapeutics, starting as a Scientist II and progressing to the position of Senior Scientist. Prior to this, from 2013 to 2019, they were a Senior Postdoctoral Associate at Boston University. Before that, from 2010 to 2012, they were a Research Associate at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research. Nima also has experience as a Research Assistant at the Pasteur Institute from 2005 to 2010, where they led the development of a novel method in collaboration with 3 Labs and optimized adenoviral vector production. Nima started their career as a Pharmacist Manager at Soha, Sadaf & J Clinic Drug stores from 2001 to 2006 and had a Pharmaceutical Industry Internship at Ramopharmin Pharmaceutical Co. from 2000 to 2001.

Nima Mohaghegh completed their Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Azad University of Pharmaceutical Sciences from 1996 to 2001. Following that, they pursued further education and became a PhD student in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at Pasteur Institute from 2005 to 2011.
