50 South Capital
Josh is the Controller for 50 South Capital. He is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the group’s hedge funds and private equity funds. Josh is a member of the 50 South Capital Diversity Council as well as the Northern Trust Latin Heritage Leadership Council.
Prior to joining 50 South Capital, Josh was a director in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ asset and wealth management tax practice for over 10 years. He was responsible for deploying tax strategies for a wide range of domestic and offshore alternative investment clients, including hedge funds, private equity funds, fund-of-funds, and registered funds. In this role Josh was also actively involved with developing a variety of proprietary technologies and automations to serve asset management clients.
Josh has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and a Masters of Accounting Science degree from Northern Illinois University. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Illinois, a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. He also is a member of the Association of Latino Professionals for America.
