Mareme Dieng is the Lead, Innovation Strategy at 500 Global. Prior to this, they were the Hackathon Manager & Corporate Innovation Consultant at Schoolab from November 2018 to December 2019. There, their objective was to develop a comprehensive understanding of a corporate client's need and consult them in the best way to tackle their innovative projects or initiatives. One of the solutions they proposed in order to generate quantitative ideas while using the design thinking approach was a hackathon, whether it be internal or external. Mareme's objective was, alongside their corporate client, to frame the themes of the hackathon, organize all the logistics, mentor the teams throughout the event and develop organs that would support the ideas after the Hackathon. In addition to consulting for these corporate clients, they also put together the strategic execution plans of their initiatives related to innovation.
Before Schoolab, Mareme was the Business Development and Community Manager at Global Startup Ecosystem from March 2018 to October 2019. And before that, they were a researcher at Lumina Foundation from October 2017 to September 2018.
