Brian Ahern is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software development and project management. Currently serving as a Technical Project Lead at 8 West Consulting since January 2017, Brian oversees client projects, manages requirements gathering, business analysis, solutions design, and implementation, while also acting as the lead developer. Prior to this role, Brian worked as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to important enhancements for healthcare insurance clients through full stack and test-driven development. Brian's career began at DSI | DeCare Systems Ireland, where notable contributions included the development and maintenance of enterprise applications for a major dental insurance provider. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc Honours) in Software Development from Munster Technological University and a Certified Project Management Diploma from the Institute of Project Management.
