Michael LaBorde has extensive experience in financial management and leadership roles. Michael currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at 8020 Consulting since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Accounting & Finance Consultant at 8020 Consulting from April 2014 to July 2022. Before joining 8020 Consulting, Michael was the CFO of PeopleMatter, a software company, from March 2012 to September 2013. Michael also served as the CFO of bulbstorm from May 2010 to February 2012. Earlier in their career, Michael held the position of CFO/VP of Operations at ShopperTrak from September 2004 to August 2008 and CFO/COO at MobilePlanet from November 1999 to June 2004. Michael began their career as the Manager of Financial Analysis at Redcats USA from April 1994 to November 1999 and previously worked as an Assistant Accounting Manager at Gingiss Formalwear from May 1992 to April 1994.
Michael LaBorde earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University Northwest from 1987 to 1992. Michael later pursued an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management specializing in Marketing, Management and Organizations, and Management and Strategy from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, in 2003 and 2004, they completed executive training in Management and Customer Service at Pinault-Printemps-Redoute (PPR) - Unext.
