Ronnie Abbo, MD, serves as a cardiologist and heart failure fellow at Rambam Health Care Campus since February 2020, also holding the position of Deputy Director at the RAMBAM Center for Cardiovascular Research and Innovation. Concurrently, Ronnie Abbo is a member of 8400 - The Health Network and a medical device startup mentor at Biodesign Israel. Previous roles include Chief Medical Officer at Cardiac Implants LLC and Sensible Medical Innovations Ltd., as well as a Product Director and Clinical Development Manager at Biosense Webster, where contributions included the global launch of CARTO systems. Ronnie Abbo's educational background encompasses an MD from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, a Diving Medicine degree from the Marine Medicine Institution, and various graduate programs focused on medical marketing and finance. Currently engaged in advanced studies in heart failure management at Zurich Heart House, Ronnie Abbo combines extensive clinical expertise with a strong focus on innovation in cardiology.

8400 The Health Network
On a mission to drive an Israeli economic growth engine in HealthTech and accelerate global cure, 8400 The Health Network is weaving a network of HealthTech ecosystem leaders, across silos and sectors, who learn together and create gap-closing projects that will propel a thriving HealthTech industry in Israel. The 8400 Fellowship runs annual cohorts of 60 senior Israeli leaders each, for an intensive 17 day program across 7 months. The program’s tailor-made curriculum is creating a continuous platform for breaking silos, peer learning and designing ecosystem growth initiatives. 8400 fellowship graduates join the 8400 Network.
