Roger Wetter

Roger Wetter has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Roger began their career as an Audit Senior at BDO Seidman, LLP in 1992 and later worked as a Senior Manager at Beemer Pricher Kuehnhackl & Heidbrink, overseeing audits and related engagements for various clients. From 2005 to 2009, they served as a Senior Manager Audit at KPMG, managing client relationships and conducting annual audit engagements for companies in industries such as real estate and manufacturing. In 2009, Wetter joined Mayer, Hoffman, McCann P.C. as a Senior Manager. Roger then worked at Deloitte & Touche as an Audit Senior Manager from 2011 to 2015, where they managed client relationships and served as a member of the internal inspections team. From 2015 to 2018, they held the role of Sr. Manager & Director - SEC & Financial Reporting at SunEdison, overseeing financial reporting efforts and focusing on compliance and bankruptcy-related projects. Wetter then served as the Director of Accounting at Nortek Global HVAC from 2018 to 2020, leading a team responsible for general accounting, compliance, cash management, budgeting, and financial analysis. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Controller at Mark Andy Inc., where they managed the finance and accounting functions for a leading manufacturer of printing machinery. Currently, Wetter is the Corporate Controller at 8th Avenue Food & Provisions, a growing food company specializing in private label and branded products.

Roger Wetter obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Kansas State University, where they studied from 1982 to 1988. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Kansas State University. Roger then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Accounting at the University of Central Florida from 1989 to 1991. Roger has additional certifications, including becoming a Certified Public Accountant, licensed by the Florida Division of Business & Professional Regulation in May 1993 and by the Missouri Board of Accountancy in July 2011. Recently, Roger has received various certifications related to SharePoint and Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack Essential Training, all obtained through LinkedIn in 2018.
