Jimmie Oxley

Jimmie Oxley is currently an advisor at 908 Devices. Prior to that, they were an investigative equipment specialist at the Northern California Regional Intelligence Center (NCRIC) from February 2017 to April 2018. In this role, they provided technical investigative support for law enforcement and public safety agencies within the Northern California High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area, including video surveillance, electronic wiretap, automated license plate reading technology, covert A/V recording equipment, unmarked surveillance vehicles, custom investigative equipment, and covert field operations.

From September 2014 to October 2017, Oxley worked as a project scientist at Keystone International, Inc., where they tested and evaluated air monitoring systems for hazardous materials response, instructed and trained civilian first responders in personal protection and hazard materials identification, and provided logistics and project support for sensor testing.

Oxley has also worked as an independent training consultant and contract instructor for Ahura Scientific from February 2010 to February 2017, and as a program manager for research, test & evaluation, training, and scientific support at JTL Defense Services.

Jimmie Oxley studied physics as an undergraduate at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Jimmie then pursued graduate studies in physics at North Carolina State University. In addition, they hold a certification from the California Department of Justice in state electronic surveillance.
