Hamish attended Cape Audio College from 1998 to 1999, where they studied sound engineering and obtained a certification in the same field from the institution SAQA in December 1998. In 2002, Hamish enrolled in Mactrain Multimedia College and completed a degree in desktop publishing. Hamish also obtained a certification in desktop publishing from SAQA in December 2002. Furthermore, in 2013, they attended Learnfast and received a degree in Adobe InDesign Advanced, specializing in advanced InDesign techniques.
