Vincent Adams

Vincent Adams is a seasoned professional in employment tax matters, currently serving as Global Employment Taxes Senior Manager at A&O Shearman since May 2024, following the merger of Allen & Overy and Shearman & Sterling. Prior to this role, Vincent held the position of Global Employment Tax Senior Manager at Allen & Overy from October 2021. Vincent's extensive experience includes over 21 years at EY as a Senior Tax Manager, where responsibilities encompassed remuneration planning, expatriate tax, and PAYE compliance. From January 1997 to December 1999, Vincent worked as a Tax Manager at KPMG UK in the Tax Investigations department. Earlier experience includes serving as a PAYE Auditor at HM Revenue & Customs from 1988 to 1997, ensuring compliance with employment tax legislation. Vincent holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Queen's University Belfast, obtained in 1988.
