Sandip Rimal

Sandip Rimal, P.E. is a Structural Engineer at AI Engineers, Inc. since February 2019. Prior to this role, Sandip Rimal served as a Research Assistant at South Dakota State University from January 2017 to February 2019, where responsibilities included preparing a final report for the South Dakota Department of Transportation and performing load rating of bridges. Sandip Rimal also held positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the same institution, focusing on load rating methodologies and assisting in surveying. Previous experience includes working as a Civil Engineer for the Nepal Government's Department of Urban Development and Building Construction, Galaxy Pumori, and the National Society for Earthquake Technology – Nepal, along with earlier roles at Era Engineering Consultancy and Pvt. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Structure from South Dakota State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Western Region Campus, Nepal.
