Brian McCarthy

Brian McCarthy, Ph.D., currently serves as an Advanced Mission Design Engineer at a.i. solutions, where responsibilities include supporting mission and trajectory design for NASA's Gateway and Artemis missions, as well as leading research for the Deep Space Trajectory Explorer project. Prior experience includes roles as a Flight Dynamics Analyst for the Earth Observing System satellites and an intern supporting trajectory design for NASA's Dragonfly and Europa Clipper missions. Education includes a Ph.D. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and a Master’s degree from Purdue University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering and Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech.
