A. Lange & Söhne began as small start-up with 15 apprentices and big ideas: When Dresden watchmaker Ferdinand Adolph Lange established his manufactory in 1845 to build the world’s best watches, he laid the cornerstone of Saxony’s precision watchmaking industry. His precious pocket watches remain highly coveted among collectors all over the world. After a glorious comeback in the 1990s, A. Lange & Söhne soon secured a top-tier position among the world’s finest watch brands.
