Deirdre Smith

Deirdre Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in compliance and program management, currently serving as the Director of Compliance and Program Management at A-LIGN since October 2015. In this role, Deirdre leads initiatives to help over 2,400 global organizations manage cybersecurity risks through a variety of services including SOC, ISO, and penetration testing, among others. Prior to this, Deirdre held several positions at A-LIGN, including Senior Manager of Risk and Compliance and Senior Manager of Quality and Training. Earlier experience includes an Operations Assistant role at Salem Enterprise Solutions and an Instructor position at Mathnasium of South Tampa. Deirdre's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Programming and Management Information Systems from the University of Tampa, and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from the University of South Florida.
