Steven Kossow

Steven Kossow has worked in the field of software safety engineering since 1985. Steven began their career at Litton Guidance & Control Systems as a Senior Engineer in System Safety, before moving to Ball Aerospace in 1989. In 1996, they joined Northrop Grumman Navigation Systems as a Member of the Technical Staff. Steven then moved to BAE Systems in 2004, where they served as a Staff System Safety Engineer and lead technical teams for hazard analyses, safety design requirements, and safety architectures. In 2013, they began working at Bastion Technologies as a System Safety Engineer Principal I. Finally, in 2017, they joined Engility as a Principal System Safety Engineer, and currently works at APT (A-P-T Research, Inc.) as a Software Safety Engineer.

Steven Kossow attended DeVry Institute of Technology from 1980 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology. Steven then went on to receive a Master of Science in Engineering from San Jose State University between 2004 and 2007.
