Michel Versteeg

Michel Versteeg has over two decades of experience in business intelligence and information management, currently serving as Manager Informatiemanagement Group Finance & Risk Reporting and Business Architect at a.s.r. verzekeringen since June 2009. In this role, Michel is responsible for the business and IT architecture of the Finance & Risk environment and oversees data-driven reporting, the implementation of Solvency II via Tagetik, preparation for IFRS 17, and general ledger migration to SAP FICO. Prior to this position, Michel held various roles at ASR Nederland, Fortis ASR, and AMEV, contributing significantly to business intelligence initiatives, team leadership, and data warehousing projects. Michel holds a degree from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
