Pedro van Looij

Pedro van Looij currently serves as the Head of External & Internal Communications and Public Affairs at a.s.r. verzekeringen since June 2008, overseeing all communications at the group level. Previously, Pedro held the position of Head of Media, Communications, responsible for internal corporate communications. As a Member of the Supervisory Board of NLPO from June 2015 to December 2023, Pedro supported the interests of local broadcasters in the Netherlands. Other notable roles include Manager of the School of Media and Entertainment Management at Hogeschool Inholland, Station Manager at Omroep West, and Editor in Chief for various radio stations including VARA and Haarlem105. Pedro's educational background includes a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Inholland University of Applied Sciences and multiple certifications in crisis communication and public relations.
