Omar Mohy-Eldin is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in IoT solutions, full-stack development, and software architecture. Currently serving as the Lead Software Engineer at A1 Digital since April 2019, Omar leads remote teams, mentors developers, and oversees the development of end-to-end IoT solutions on the Cumulocity platform. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer, focusing on Angular applications and Java micro-services, and Full-Stack Software Engineer at umdasch The Store Makers, where Omar worked on electronic shelf labeling and interactive digital signage. Early career experiences include internships in Android development, software engineering, and customer technical support at notable companies such as Pharos Solutions, Digitales Bauen GmbH, and Ericsson. Academically, Omar holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz and bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from both the German University in Cairo and Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University.
