Christian Gelijsteen is an accomplished logistics professional with extensive experience in warehouse management and operations. Currently serving as the Operationeel Manager Warehouse at Aalberts Integrated Piping Systems since February 2019, Christian has successfully integrated heavy goods into the European distribution center and implemented a KPI structure alongside Kaizen practices on the shop floor. Prior roles include Warehouse Engineer at Aalberts, where Christian set up the European DC in Zeewolde and led significant operational improvements that doubled productivity in certain areas. Previous experience includes roles at CEVA Logistics, Vantec World Transport, and Van Straaten Post B.V., focusing on project engineering, logistics coordination, and operational excellence in various sectors. Christian holds a Bachelor of Economics in Commerciële Economie from Hogeschool Inholland Diemen.
