Gary Coats

Gary Coats, CPA, has substantial experience in tax analysis and compliance within various organizations. As a Senior Tax Analyst at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing since May 2017, Gary prepares and reviews the US federal consolidated income tax return for a $6 billion US company. Prior to this role, Gary served as Tax Supervisor at Delphi from January 2005 to December 2016, advancing from Tax Specialist to Senior Tax Specialist and ultimately to Tax Supervisor, while handling complex federal compliance forms. Earlier experience includes a Tax Supervisor role at O/E Systems, Inc., and a Senior Accountant position at Bultynck & Co. P.L.L.C. Gary holds a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Accounting and Finance from Oakland University.
