James Leeper is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in customer relations and infrastructure services. Currently serving as Deputy Director of Customer Relations at AARNet since July 2017, James supports university customers in New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, and Western Australia with a focus on education and research. Prior to this role, James had a significant tenure at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from 1996 to 2017, where positions included Manager of Infrastructure Services, Director and Interim Director of Faculty IT Services, and IT Manager for the Faculty of Medicine. James holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from UNSW and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Mathematics from St. Olaf College.
