John Erlingheuser

John Erlingheuser is an experienced professional in advocacy and community outreach, currently serving as the Senior Associate State Director of Advocacy and Community Outreach at AARP since November 2003. Prior roles include Director of Advocacy at AARP, Registrar of Voters in the City of Ansonia from January 1997 to March 2013, and Clerk for the Transportation Committee with the Connecticut General Assembly. Additionally, John held the position of Director of Operations for Congressman Jim Maloney and worked as a Legislative Aide within the Connecticut General Assembly. Early career experiences include roles such as Assistant Campaign Field Director with Friends of Jim Maloney and Grassroots Legislative Campaign Coordinator for the Connecticut State Federation of Teachers. John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Connecticut.
