David Dimes

David Dimes is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Finance Director - Global Dairy at AB Agri since September 2023. Previously, David held the position of General Manager - Finance at George Weston Foods from January 2012 to September 2023, where responsibilities included being a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and leading Finance & Procurement within the GWF Baking division in New Zealand. Additional experience includes serving as Operations Finance Manager for Tip Top Australia & New Zealand, where David successfully guided a team through a transitional phase, enhancing team engagement and performance. Earlier roles include Head of Commercial Finance at Allied Bakeries and various positions at United Biscuits, where David developed a strong foundation in commercial finance and operations. David Dimes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham and is a Fellow of CIMA (FCMA, CGMA).
