Assa Kuguru has held various roles in the field of Information Technology. They started their career in 2012 at Access Microfinance Bank, where they worked as a Senior Application Administrator and Desktop Support Specialist. They also served as a Senior Regional IT Officer during their time at the bank. In 2020, Assa joined AB Bank Rwanda PLC as the Head of Information Technology. Prior to that, they held the position of Information Technology Manager at the same company from November 2019 to March 2020. In January 2022, Assa returned to Access Microfinance Bank as the Senior Information Technology Manager.
From 2008 to 2011, Assa Kuguru pursued a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems at the University of Dodoma.
