Prior experience includes working as the Strategist of Project Results Excellence at Abacus CPAs, LLC, where Kip utilized project management principles to enhance internal processes and manage community events. At Kent District Library, Kip held various roles, including Programming Manager, where Kip oversaw numerous library programs across 19 branches, and Adult Services Librarian, focusing on event management and program creation for adult patrons. Additionally, Kip worked as News Editor and On-air Announcer at WKPR, contributing to daily news and promotional content. Kip holds a Master’s Degree in Communications from Grand Valley State University, a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public History from Western Michigan University.
