Aashish Dhungana

Aashish Dhungana, Ph.D. has over 8 years of work experience, beginning in 2014. Aashish began their career at COTIVITI NEPAL (formerly Verscend Nepal) as an Intern, then an Associate Software Engineer, and finally a Software Engineer. In 2016, they moved to Virginia Commonwealth University as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they proposed a dynamic programming based optimal charging skip algorithm in mobile social networks and devised and formulated an optimal stopping theory model for optimal content routing protocol in mobile opportunistic networks. In 2021, they joined Comprehensive Healthcare Systems as a Software Implementation Programmer. As of 2022, they are currently employed at Abacus Insights as a Software Engineer.

Aashish Dhungana has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, obtained in 2020. Aashish also has a Bachelor in Computer Engineering from Kathmandu University (KU), obtained in 2014. Additionally, they have three certifications: Data Scientist Tool Box from Coursera, obtained in 2014; R Programming from Coursera, obtained in 2014; and Presentation Skills from English for All, obtained in 2014.
