Jeremy Lai

Jeremy Lai has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jeremy is currently working as a Client Support Engineer at Abacus Group since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at IPsoft as a Sr. Helpdesk Engineer from January 2017 to December 2020, where they managed Active Directory, Exchange 2010, and Office 365 hybrid environments. Jeremy also resolved inbound delivery issues, managed recipient permissions, and handled public folder management.

Before IPsoft, Jeremy worked as a Systems Analyst Intern at Charter Technology Solutions for a brief period from July 2016 to September 2016. In this role, they ensured customer satisfaction through issue resolution and conducted endpoint devices deployment projects.

During their college years, Jeremy interned at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority as a Summer Intern in the Enterprise Architecture Department from May 2015 to August 2015.

Prior to college, Jeremy worked at Batom Co. Ltd as a System Administrator from May 2010 to June 2014. In this role, they provided IT support to over 100 staff, maintained software and hardware systems, and achieved a high level of customer satisfaction. Jeremy also briefly served as a Sales Specialist at the same company, managing customer relations and attending exhibitions.

Jeremy's early work experience includes co-founding Grand Journey Multimedia Marketing Studio in May 2009, where they served as a Co-Founder/Marketing & IT specialist. Jeremy'sresponsibilities included planning and executing marketing strategies, writing proposals for government tenders, and managing overall operations.

Jeremy Lai received their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science from Feng Chia University in the years 2003 to 2007. Jeremy then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Management at Syracuse University from 2014 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Jeremy Lai has obtained various certifications. Jeremy is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, certified by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2019. Jeremy also holds multiple certifications from Microsoft, including MCSA: Windows Server 2016 - Certified 2018, Exam 742: Identity with Windows Server 2016, Exam 741: Networking with Windows Server 2016, and Exam 740: Installation, Storage and Compute with Windows Server 2016. Furthermore, they obtained the certification for Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuring from Microsoft in December 2012.
