Prior experience includes leadership roles at the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing the Off-site Supervision Division and leading the Banking Supervision Department. Nabi Aliyev's academic credentials include an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, along with a PhD and a Master's degree in International Economics from Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
