Peter Mayer

Peter Mayer has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director and Principal Research Scientist at AbbVie since 2013. Prior to this role, Peter held the position of Senior Scientist III at Abbott Laboratories from 2008 to 2012 and worked as a Senior Scientist at Boehringer Ingelheim from 2003 to 2008. Peter began their career at Wyeth Consumer Healthcare as a Research Scientist from September 2001 to May 2003. Peter earned a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Utah between 1996 and 2001, and a B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1987 to 1992.
