Doreen Maller currently serves as the Chair of the Holistic Counseling Psychology programs at John F. Kennedy University, a role assumed in November 2014, after a successful tenure as an Associate Professor in the same field. Dr. Maller has contributed significantly to the literature on mental health, editing and publishing works on Community Mental Health and Mental Health and Aging through ABC-CLIO since February 2014. As a therapist, Doreen Maller has maintained a self-employed practice since August 2009 and operates as a Marriage and Family Therapist under Doreen Maller PhD, MFT since June 2008. Prior professional experience includes serving as Vice President of Technical Services at Gap Inc. from 1989 to 2001. Doreen Maller holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Transformative Learning and Change from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
