Patrice Natalie Delevante has extensive experience in both hospitality and academia. Currently serving in the hospitality sector at Island Vista since May 2021, Patrice also has a long-standing career as a published author with Oxford University Press and ABC-CLIO since 2007. Scholarly contributions include chapters in renowned encyclopedias, as well as writing on race and ethnicity topics for various Mosaics databases. Previous roles in hospitality include work with Hilton, and earlier positions included internships and teaching at Boston Plan for Excellence and Simmons University. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Literature and African American and African Studies from the University of Virginia and a Master's degree in Gender and Cultural Studies from Simmons University, along with a non-degree course in Spanish from the University of Valencia.
