Ravi Baichwal

Ravi Baichwal is an accomplished anchor, host, and reporter with extensive experience in news broadcasting. Currently serving as the anchor of Chicago's top-rated newscast at ABC News since November 2006, Ravi has received multiple Emmy Awards for exceptional reporting and breaking news coverage. Prior to joining ABC News, Ravi held various positions at CTV National News from 2002 to 2006, including hosting CTV Newsnet Morning and acting as a national reporter. Additional roles include hosting a news talk radio program at CFRB 1010 AM and serving as a news anchor at CTV British Columbia. Ravi's career began as a researcher, reporter, and anchor at CBC, followed by legislative assistance and government relations roles. Ravi holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a certificate in French from Western University.
