Priscilla Soriano

Priscilla Soriano is a skilled research scientist with extensive experience in molecular biology and biochemistry. Currently employed at AbCellera since August 2019, Priscilla has held the positions of Research Scientist, Associate Laboratory Scientist, and Research Technician. Prior to AbCellera, Priscilla worked as a Senior Research Technologist at STEMCELL Technologies, focusing on human pluripotent stem cell differentiation towards gastrointestinal tissue types. Earlier roles included Research Technician at the BC Cancer Research Centre, where Priscilla conducted cytotoxicity experiments and handled DNA isolation and quantification. Priscilla also gained valuable experience as a co-op student at both the Michael Smith Genome Sciences Centre, working on mitochondrial DNA sequencing, and the BC Cancer Research Centre, contributing to the BC Generations Project biorepository. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science with a major in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University, complemented by a minor in Criminology and certificates in Genomics and Forensics.
