Joanna McNamara

Joanna McNamara, HMCC, is a seasoned professional in event management and marketing with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as Senior Tradeshow Manager at Abiomed since April 2019, Joanna has previously held key positions at Medtronic, HeartWare Inc., and novoGI, specializing in the planning and execution of high-level tradeshows, conventions, and educational events. Joanna's background also includes roles as Meetings & Conventions Coordinator at Smith & Nephew Endoscopy and Marketing Communications Specialist at both MBTA and iCorps Technologies. A graduate of Salem State University with a BS in Communications/Marketing, Joanna possesses a strong ability to collaborate with marketing teams to align event strategies with organizational goals.
