Heidi Halonen is a Process Development Engineer at Arctic Biomaterials Medical, specializing in the development of innovative implantable biodegradable glass fiber-based composite products since December 2021. Previously, from February 2013 to May 2021, Heidi worked as a researcher at BioMediTech, where involvement in the Human Spare Parts research project provided extensive international experience. Heidi's academic journey includes a PhD at Tampere University of Technology from September 2012 to December 2016, as well as roles as a guest lecturer at the University of Tampere in April 2015. Heidi holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, both from Tampere University of Technology. Initial work experience includes serving as a waitress trainee with Viking Line from May 2004 to August 2008.
