Abrasive Technology
Walter Green is a Research and Development Engineer at Abrasive Technology since May 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Design Specialist at Toyota Boshoku America from September 2019 to May 2022, focusing on design in the service and machine building shop. Prior to that, Walter worked at BWI GROUP as a Manufacturing/Welding Engineer overseeing the installation of plant startup equipment and working with robotic MIG weld cells and high-speed forging processes from January 2017 to September 2019. Walter also held the role of Manufacturing Engineer at BWI GROUP, concentrating on welding engineering and writing specifications for tooling and machinery for large-scale production. Walter's earlier experience includes serving as Lab Supervisor for the Mechanical and Aerospace student machine shop at The Ohio State University from June 2007 to December 2015, assisting students in design and manufacturing projects, as well as working as a Research Assistant within the department. Walter earned a degree in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University, completing studies from 2004 to 2016.

Abrasive Technology manufactures and sells electroplated, metal and resin bonded superabrasive diamond and CBN tooling for creep feed grinding, form grinding, machining, material removal, and polishing applications. This tooling is used in the following industries: aerospace, gas turbine jet engines, high-performance composites, dental, medical, glass, stone, and metalworking.
