Nicola Brown

Nicola Brown is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as a Senior Fund Controller at abrdn since August 2019. Prior to this role, Nicola held the position of Assurance Manager at PwC UK for nearly a year and served as an Audit Associate Manager and Audit Assistant Manager at KPMG Channel Islands from August 2015 to September 2018. Nicola began a career in finance as a Trainee Chartered Accountant at Dickson Middleton, gaining comprehensive experience in audit and accounting. Educational achievements include a BAcc(Hons) in Accountancy with Finance and an MSc in Accounting & Finance from the University of Dundee, alongside a CA qualification from ICAS. Early research roles at the University of Dundee further developed analytical skills through projects analyzing corporate disclosures in the energy sector and pension schemes in FTSE 100 companies.
