Paul Pearston

Paul Pearston is an experienced technology professional with a career spanning over two decades, specializing in cloud architecture, IT security, and infrastructure strategy. Currently serving as the Lead Infrastructure & Cloud Architect at abrdn since August 2022, Paul leads a team focused on cloud and network architecture. Prior to this role, Paul spent nearly nine years at NatWest Group, where responsibilities included setting technology strategies and overseeing architecture within the IT Security and Infrastructure domains during a significant digital transformation. Paul's earlier positions include Security Architect at Royal Bank of Scotland, Senior Product Manager at Tata Communications, and a range of roles at BT, including Senior Security Solutions Manager. Paul holds a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.
